Regal Hair Requires Regal Maintenance!!! Medium- Long Length Pt. 1

There is absolutely nothing worse than going to the salon and receiving a fierce and fabulous hairstyle, only to wake up the next morning not looking as glamourous as you did when you left your stylist. Well ladies....here are a couple of home maintenance recommendations that may help keep you looking ohhh sooo regal in between your salon visits!!!

~Press/Blow Out/ Flat Iron: When getting these type of styles, you want to make sure that your hair remains full of body, not limp and lifeless! Be sure to wrap your hair at night with a satin/silk scarf using a wide tooth comb. SN: Lots of people use bristle brushes because it's "easier" to wrap the hair with versus a comb. However, brushes have the tendency to make the hair flatten out quicker and lose the body and bounce. Now here's the BIGGIE, if you are one of those regal ladies who like LOTS OF HAIR BODY, here is an added bonus for you!! Use the extra large satin sponge rollers to roll your hair with at night. The next morning, take the rollers out and wrap your hair before you shower and get ready for your day (be sure to wrap your hair nice and smooth to remove roller creases). Once you have finished getting ready for your day, unwrap your hair and witness how those satin rollers infuse LOTS of HAIR BODY into your style.

~Roller Set/Body/Barrel Curls: Besides rolling your hair with the magnetic or satin sponge hair rollers to maintain curls, pin curling your is an alternative to maintaining those lushes curls. The key thing about pin curls is that you determine how loose or tight you want your curl to be by whatever size pin curl you role ;-)))). Keep in mind when pin curling that you must form a nice round curl using accurate finger placement in a circular motion; pin the curl to the scalp using an open end hair pin or bobby pin to ensure that your curls are bouncing, behaving and beautiful once you remove the pins.
